What's in the Fridge?

I have some meat waiting patiently for me in the fridge...

Country style Pork Ribs
Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenders
Pork Chops
Ground Chicken
Steak (I can't recall exactly what kind right now)

So it is time to get back into the kitchen and get cookin'.

The Ribs are headed to a marriage with some southern style BBQ Sauce in my crockpot. They will be paired with Baked Potatoes and some undecided vegetable for our hearty dinner on this cold winter day.

The Chicken Tenders? I think they might just turn into some yummy chicken kebabs- I need to get them marinating as Princess asked if she could help skewer them when the time comes. They will be our dinner tomorrow night- with the prep done today. Awesome.

Pork Chops: I might send them to the freezer to cool out for a bit. We all know the best way to cook them is with a bit of S&P and a dash of garlic and thrown on the grill for a bit. Not to mention the homemade, unsweetened, chunky applesauce on the side- for dipping, of course. A bit o' green salad and some buttered noodles and it is a full on dinner!

My friend the ground chicken is headed into meatball-dom. I will bake them a bit and throw them in the freezer for the next time we want spaghetti- because meatballs always improve that simple, quick dinner.

Steak? Oh, baby, you are heading for the grill. I want you grilled to perfection, sliced to show the beautiful red center and resting atop a bed of greens. Oooh, yummy. Steak salad for lunch, HERE I COME!

Oooooh... I almost forgot! I also have some fresh zucchini and mushrooms in that fridge o' mine and I need to get those into some italian dressing for scrumptious veggies on the grill- sounds like the perfect side for dinner.
